- Vacature Psychotherapist / Psychologist (Residential Addiction & Mental Health Treatment Centre Ibiza, Spain) (geplaatst 21 juli)
Ibiza Calm is a specialist residential treatment centre providing evidence-based support for individuals experiencing addiction and mental health difficulties. Our aim is to help clients achieve sustainable recovery, emotional stability, and a healthier, more fulfilling future. We are seeking a qualified and registered Psychotherapist or Psychologist to join our clinical team.
The Role
The successful candidate will act as a primary therapist within our multidisciplinary treatment programme, delivering individual and group interventions, supporting treatment planning, liaising with families and referrers, and contributing to the overall therapeutic community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and formulate treatment plans
- Deliver one-to-one therapy sessions
- Facilitate therapeutic groups, workshops, and assignment presentations
- Collaborate with nursing, medical, and support staff
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
- Communicate with families and referring professionals where appropriate
- Participate in clinical meetings and case reviews
- Support discharge planning and relapse prevention
- Contribute to the development of therapeutic workshops and programme content
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Psychotherapist or Psychologist
- Registered, accredited, or eligible for registration with a recognised professional body such as BACP, UKCP, HCPC, PSI, COP (Colegio Oficial de Psicología), or an equivalent recognised European professional regulator
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Experience working with addiction, mental health, trauma, or related presentations
- Strong organisational and clinical documentation skills
- Full driving licence
- Ability to legally live and work in Spain or elsewhere within the European Union without employer-sponsored visa requirements
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Experience within residential treatment settings
- Experience facilitating psychoeducational and process groups
- Additional training in addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, or related therapeutic modalities
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
- Additional language skills, particularly Spanish
Working hours
Tuesday to Saturday 09:00–17:00 Some flexibility may occasionally be required to attend professional events, networking activities, or represent Ibiza Calm at relevant functions.
